The Boyd Innovation Center, Columbia, SC’s innovation hub, serves a younger, tech-oriented audience. My role focused on designing branded merchandise to foster a sense of community and pride among new members. Through thoughtful design, I aimed to create items that resonate with Boyd’s innovative and forward-thinking ethos.
Research: Analyzed Boyd’s existing branding and identified their stock rocket graphic as a symbol to develop into a unique visual identity.
Design Execution: Created a custom rocket logo and developed merchandise, including a streetwear-style t-shirt, two sweatshirts, a notebook, and a sticker pack. The designs were tailored to appeal to the center’s youthful, tech-savvy audience.
Develop a more dynamic and engaging pullover design, with interest expressed in a bold tie-dye aesthetic or a minimalist shattered-glass look.
